I had to take my cat in at around 11pm, I called beforehand to get their opinion and the receptionist was kind and patient with me. As soon as I walked in I felt welcome and the staff loved my cat. Everyone I talked to was professional and extremely sweet. I was wary of bringing her here because I read some bad reviews, but I am extremely glad I chose this vet.
We were visiting relatives for Thanksgiving, and became worried about our dog (after getting into the garbage and consuming the remnants of our turkey dinner) in the middle of the night. He was severely bloated and was having a very difficult time relieving himself (we also noticed some bleeding). We were skeptical about bringing him here due to some of the reviews posted, but we’re SO HAPPY we did! We brought him in around 4:30 AM, and were kindly greeted by the receptionists, who were both kind and compassionate. Dr. Kim saw us promptly, and was very thorough in her examination and explanation. She walked us through his x-rays (which showed a severe bloat) and treatment options. All in all, we did pay $500 for our visit, but the peace of mind that we were offered was priceless.
Wonderful staff! After my dog was bitten I was glad to know there was an animal hospital near by that’s open 24 hrs. The cost was affordable (at least to me) and the staff were all very kind!
Came here to have my cat treated. He had a very large hook behind his shoulder. I expected a wait but, was on my way in 2 hours. They clearly explained the pricing and expectations for the procedure. The clinic was clean and organized. Personel were busy doing their jobs. I highly recommend to those who cannot wait, but with all emergency care places please expect to be treated by priority.
We called ahead to make sure that the doctor was in, to find out if we needed an appointment, and to get advice for the trip on the way there, as our cat had what seemed to be a serious emergency. The woman on the phone said we could come in anytime, and they did not have any advise until we would arrive. That was about 1 am. We arrived before 5am, and were told that they couldn't see us for a couple hours because the computers were down. !!! They suggested we go to Mokena, which was not possible. After explaining that we needed immediate emergency care, and had we known that we would be turned down, we would have made arrangements to go north instead. We nor the cat care about the computers being down, or when they find the time to input data. They did decide to take a quick look at her, but determined that we could wait a couple hours for the computer updates to complete, which we did. Once we were given the go, Brandon and Brittany were decent to us. Dr. Sievers was very good with our cat, who is not used to different people. He was able to calm her and was genuinely concerned. We were given a choice of treatments, were explained how to give medication, and sent off in good spirits. We need to return there or else where in a few days for monitoring.
